Hindu Mahasabha Secretary Puja Shakun Pandey booked for defaming Mahatma Gandhi Absconding!

The death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi is dedicated as martyr’s day. On January 30, the nation pays homage to Gandhiji and observes a 2-minutes silence to pay a tribute to the martyrs of India. However the Hindu Mahasabha national secretary Puja Shakun Pandey, celebrated the day by paying homage to Nathuram Godse, the man who killed Gandhiji.

Re-enacting the assassination scene, Puja Shakun shot Gandhiji’s poster and effigy with her gun and the followers of Mahasabha shouted slogans against Father of the Nation.

A clip of this anti-celebration went viral on social media and citizens across India condemned the Hindu Mahasabha and demanded action against the anti-nationalist humiliating and defaming Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi.

Acting on public fury Alighar police have lodged an FIR against Puja Shakun Pandey, Mr. Ashok Pandey and a dozen other members of the right-wing outfit for defaming Mahatma Gandhi. The police have charged them for creating secular discord and for promoting enmity between different groups, among other sections of the Indian Penal Code. However Puja Shakun Pandey is absconding and police is tracing her.
