Gujarat Cabinet Tourism Minister Jawahar Chavda told Hello Mumbai News, In an Exclusive interview “I love Kashmir. It is a wonderful place and truly a paradise on earth. I wonder why Indian people go abroad to places like Europe, Canada, and Australia when India has an even more marvelous and matchless place like Kashmir.”
He added, “I would advise my Indian people that they should visit Kashmir and enjoy its illimitable beauty and splendor. In addition, remember Kashmir is part of our country. Hence we should NOT boycott Kashmir tourism just for the sake of Pulwama tragedy. Every year so many Gujarati people visit Kashmir and they had a very good experience. So I appeal Indians to visit Kashmir and stay away from people spreading negative propaganda against Kashmir Tourism.”
Nisar Ahmed Wani Director of Jammu & Kashmir Tourism told, “India is one nation and we all love Kashmir and Kashmiri people. Kashmir tourism is an integral part of India and we cannot ignore the multi-million dollar Kashmir Tourism.”
It may be noted to boost Kashmir tourism Director of Kashmir Tourism is going to organize a huge event in Mumbai on 25 March .Nisar Ahmed Wani Director of Kashmir Tourism said, “We are promoting Kashmir tourism across India on March 25, by organizing a Big Road Show in Mumbai. All tour operators from Maharashtra and Gujarat are supporting us. Hence I urge every Indian to support Kashmir Tourism and condemn negative propaganda against Kashmir Tourism.
It is true that after the ill-fated terror attack in Pulwama many tourists discarded their plans to have a vacation in Kashmir Valley thus affecting the annual business of the Jammu and Kashmir people. Nevertheless, tour operators of Mumbai, Pune, and Gujarat have extended their support to the Kashmir Tour Operators and assured of usual business this summer vacation.
