It is true that after the ill-fated terror attack in Pulwama many tourists discarded their plans to have a vacation in Kashmir Valley thus affecting the annual business of the Jammu and Kashmir people. Nevertheless, tour operators of Mumbai, Pune, and Gujarat have extended their support to the Kashmir Tour Operators and assured of usual business this summer vacation. Recently Hello Mumbai News reported how the Mumbai’s famous tour operators like Kesari Holidays, Raja Rani Travels, Pooja Travels, Hazel Holidays, Heena Travels etc extended complete support to Kashmiris and promised to make the summer season a success as usual. Overjoyed by the support by Mumbai, Pune and Gujarat Tour operators the Kashmir Tour organizations have expressed their gratitude and appreciations. Hello Mumbai News received thanks from many tour operators from Kashmir.
Mr.Manzoor Pakhtoon from Silk Route ,said, “We are highly thankful to Shailesh Ji From Kesari Tour, Satish Shah from Pooja Holidays, Ajay Modi and Pankaj Bhai who supported us a lot. They are not just a tour operator for us but they are like our family. Tourism is the only link which connects our Indian cultures and different community people. We can’t oppose or neglect this truth. It’s a good sign that all Tour Operator got united and supported Kashmir Tourism.”
Mr. Shamim shah from Shah Travels  said, “I think it is against the interest of our country to boycott Kashmir Tourism because it will have devastating consequences in the valley of Jammu and Kashmir. The loss in the tourism business will result in unemployment in the factories, and this, in turn, will lead to hunger and poverty in Jammu and Kashmir. Hence, I am sure the people of India are very sensible. They will not support such kind of negative propaganda. Now the time has come to move towards positivity which will be in the interest of our Nation. We should launch a positive campaign against this Negative propaganda.”
Sheikh Mahommed Sultan from Just Tours and Travels, said, “Kashmir is termed as Heaven of Earth! So how can anybody abandon heaven?” He added, “Tourism is the heritage and rich culture of our country. With tourism how can we live? Hence the ‘Negative’ propaganda against Kashmir Tourism is totally incorrect and must be condemned.” Applauding the support by tour operators brother in Maharashtra and Gujarat, Sheikh Mahommed Sultan said, “I am obliged and thankful to my operators’ brother in Maharashtra and Gujarat like Satish Shah, Shailesh Bhai and all my other friends who have supported us and come forward to continue business with us. We are leaving in Democratic country we all have equal rights.”
