Maharashtra government has issued ‘RED Alert’ for 3 days.*
Mean temperature will be between 45.1 to 48.5degrees Celsius.

Please drink 6-7 liters of water a day, Avoid going out in open sun from 11AM- 4 PM.
The climate and temperature will be very hot in some parts of Maharashtra particularly in North Maharashtra, Jalgaon, Dhule and Nandurbar will be severely affected due to this hot temperature.In Vidarbh region Akola, Buldana, Nagpur, Bhandara, Gadchroli and Gondiya in these districts temperature will be between 46 degree to 49 degree.

Marathwada region of Maharashtra which is already facing drought problem will also  face hot temperature in some district such as Beed ,Prabhni , Nanded Jalna and Ahmednagar. This heatwave will be light in Konkan region and Western Maharashtra.

D  and Maharashtra Government issued advisory and appeal to the people not to come out from their houses without any urgency.This heatwave will be continued in next three days.
