Fury rainfall affects flight services on the Mumbai-Jalgaon-Ahmedabad sector

This is October and even as the IMD had declared of the South-West monsoon , regretabbly, the fury rains continues to lash some parts of Maharashtra , particularly North Maharashtra ‘s Jalgaon district, and Western Maharashtra ‘s Pune, Satara and kolhapur since the last three days. Reportedly, North Maharashtra’s Jalgaon city is being heavily affected as there is continuous rainfall which is causing severe damage to Jalgaon domestic airport and causing suspension of flight service on the Jalgaon-Mumbai sector.

TrueJet Airlines  operates daily service from Jalgaon to Metro cities like Ahmedabad, Mumbai etc.Notably the Ahmedabad and Jalgaon are facilitated with a small even as the flight service on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad is on daily basis. However, due to continuous rain these flight services are badly affected owing to inclement weather .

As per the Airport Authority the services flights will be resumed after the weather conditions improve
