Eminent media.persona Raj Nayak floats own media firm House Of Cheer

Dynamic, exhuberant, eminent and authority in media and Ex-CEO of Colors and COO of Viacom 18, Raj Nayak has ventured into the set up of his own media organisation HOUSE OF CHEER to share and spread happiness. This organization saw the light of day on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi this year. Recently his daughter Sameera united into wedlock with her US fiance.

Sources close to Raj Nayak reveal that House of Cheer emerges as the country’s first ever full-service media, entertainment and technology organization specialising in Creation, Curation and Consultancy. Under the canopy of Cheer, there will be various business extensions in the space of happiness and well-being products and sevices.

Raj’s first assignment in television industry was with Star India where he held the post of Executive Vice-President, Sales and Marketing and was responsible for strategy, packaging and marketing for all Star channels and the revenue for the group.

Before joining Colors, Raj Nayak had founded media sales and marketing company Aidem after quitting NDTV Media as CEO which he headed for a period of seven years. Raj was instrumental in the launch of Big Boss while in Colors and had a good rapport with Salman Khan. It was at this time I got an opportunity to know Raj Nayak.
