Hindu Mahasabha leader Ranjeet Bachchan shot dead in Lucknow’s Hazratganj

Hindu Mahasabha leader Ranjeet Bachchan was shot dead by unidentified bike-borne assailants in Lucknow’s Hazratganj area on Sunday morning. Bachchan’s brother also sustained gunshot wounds in the attack. Uttar Pradesh Police has taken cognisance of the matter and launched an investigation into it.

Ranjeet Bachchan, Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha’s Uttar Pradesh president had gone out for morning walk with his brother earlier today in Hazratganj area of Central Lucknow. While the brothers were walking in the area, several unidentified bike-borne men confronted them and opened fire at them.
