Prime Minister Narendra Modi has addressed the nation to observe”,Janata Curfew” on Sunday, 22nd March and to advocate self-isolation to combat the dreaded Coronavirus COVID-19.
This curfew was imposed so that the people do not gather on road , which will be helpful to curb the deadly coronavirus.
Inspite of the curfew ,some people in Vashi have moved out freely and violated the rules and regulations of Janta curfew
police arrested forty accused for violating the rules and regulations of Janta Curfew and booked them under various sections of law.
All the accused were remanded to eight days of police custody.
