Mumbai: Mumbai Kandivali accused Rajesh Laxmi Thakur murdered his younger brother for violating the Coronavirus Lockdown order and ventured out of his house to purchase groceries inspite of being told not to move out.

Story in nutshell:

When the elder brother Rajesh Thakur warned his younger brother Durgesh not to step out of the house, but Durgesh was adamant and by ignoring his warning, alongwith his wife, stepped out of the house to buy groceries.

After Durgesh returned home from the market with his wife, elder brother Rajesh asked him what was the so much urgency to go to the market when the lockdown order is in progress.

A heated arguement and a fight ensued between the two brothers and Durgesh slapped Rajesh’s wife.

Unable to bear it, Rajesh picked up a kitchen knife and murdered his younger brother Durgesh.

Durgesh was immediately rushed to nearby hospital but the Doctors in the Hospital declared him dead on arrival.
