Mumbai: Mumbai RPI Leader Navin Lade tweets to Boris Johnson for strict norms for VISA from immigration dept due to Covid-19 pandemic
Mumbai: Amid the Coronavirus crisis developing to a worse senario in UK, the plans, which look to restrict entry into the UK from 1 January, 2021 for so-called ‘low skilled’ workers, have been blasted by businesses across the country.
With thousands of so-called ‘low skilled’ workers serving on the frontline amid the coronavirus pandemic, immigrant supporters have said that the health crisis has ‘clearly identified who Britain’s key workers are.’
In his tweet to Boris Johnson, Navin Lade, RPI Leader and Social Activist write “due to the existing Covid-19 Pandemic scenario, there is a need to adhere to strict norms should be for the issuance of VISA from immigration dept.
This should also be followed with strict Medical Fitness certificate for not having any Covid-19 epidemic and it should be made mandatory for every person travelling to any countries.
