Mumbai: Ms Hetal Gala, BJP, BMC Corporator, Ward No.97, Santacruz west candidly shares her work experience amid lockdown, with Hello Mumbai News Reporter Ramya Ravi

Mumbai: Hetal Gala BMC Corporator Ward 97 santacuruz west advocated that people should follow norms, guidelines and policies of the government so as to survive and STAY SAFE from
Covid-19 pandemic.

Ms Hetal has been battling with Covid-19, since March 18 by helping housewives with Vegetable Vans in distributing food to 500 people twice a day daily morning and evening, free masks,
free mask,sanitizers ,handwash etc
Ms Hetal has also started medical camp and checkups in the area for the people mainly senior citizens who can not manage to go to shops
are given medicine and health facilities by her.

Ms Hetal, further says, lockdown extension is important because of the daily spike in cases.

With this scenario even today she is unable to find bed for two patients and finding ways to help them .
Ms Hetal Gala adds, not only youngsters, but also those in the age group of 50 /60 who should be careful are mostly found on the streets not listening to the police and violating the rules. Instead they should be stepping out only if necessary. This will be good for them as some of them are with diabetics, with asthama and breathing problems and many are affected easily.

She advised that even people can buy things and store for a week so that they cant come again for buying stuff.
Ms Hetal also said that in Bandra Vidhan Sabha being a single platform and unit Khar Danda, she has been taking care of migrants by giving them food and all necessary needs for them .
Every facilities will be afforded for their travel to their home town by helping them with tickets and food too.Thos who are well to-do can afford everything but middle class family and daily workers need money. They are unable to do anything easily.
Stepping out for any reason, mask is a must and proper precautions need to be taken. Washing hands and maintenance of social distancing will help us to live with the virus and stay safe.
Ms Hetal Gala says, when our government and our policemen and workers are giving their time by putting their lives to stake, we can do a simple favour by STAYING HOME STAYING SAFE with family

A step against covid_19 An Initiative taken provide free Fumigation services by disinfecting Staircases,Passages & common Area of society buildings, chawals, schools etc. I reviewed sanitisation work at Beasant Road & Khotwadi SRA building in Ward 97 Santacruz west from 20/03/2020

We also started distribution of Food Packets at Santacruz west ward 97!
On 22 May, MLA Adv. Ashish Shelar ji provided Vegetable van with reasonable rate near Poddar school Santacruz west. Every day in different location in ward 97 Santacruz West, we distributed masks, sanitisers to Santacruz West Police Station to all Policemen
On 22 May, our volunteers cleaned 40 public toilets at Daulat Nagar, Santacruz West, Ward 97. All public places cleansed and sanitised- India Fights Corona.
