• Mephedrone (MD ) worth Rs 12 lakhs  seized From ,Daulat Nagar, Santacruz Mumbai  By Crime Branch Unit 9.
• The city crime branch has seized                 Mephedrone (MD) worth Rs 12 lakh           from  the two accused it arrested on   Wednesday, Dec 2020.

Acting on a tip-off a team from crime   branch unit 9 laid a trap on Wednesday,    morning at Daulat Nagar in Santacruz and apprehended two persons, Shahanawaz Shaikh, 36 alias Aaju and Alpeshkumar Jain, 40.

Crime Branch Unit 9 , PSI Vijendra Anbavde got a tip of selling MD in Maruti Car, at  Daulat Nagar Bus Stop,Raheja college Road, Santacruz  .

1. 115 Gms MD 12,00,000 Lakhs (in Santacruz-Mumbai)
2. Maruti Brezza MH-04-JZ-369 Worth Rs 12,00,000 Lakhs
Over All Seized by Santacruz Police 24 lakhs

C.R.No.48, 52/20 u/Sec. 8(C) 22(C) NDPS Act 1985 registered

During their search  along with MD electronic weighing machine and small plastic packets were seized. Following the seizure the two have been arrested under sections of NDPS Act.
