Mumbai Police raid Dragonfly Club in J.W.Marriot,Hotel, Andheri East,with the help of Sahar police station personnel.

To curb violation of protocol and other COVID-19 norm breach,
PI Yadav, Gaondevi Police Station, Andheri, (East),on instructions from DCP Jain, raided Dragonfly Club nestled in JW Marriott at 3.00 am with the help of Sahar police station personnel.

During the course of the raid, police spotted 34 people including Hotel staff. 19 people were grim Delhi and Punjab while 22’0 were from South Mumbai. Action was initiated against them.

Also spotted at the raid were Cricketer Suresh Raina,
Singer Guru Randhawa, Sussanne Roshan Khan, (ex-wife of popular actor Hrithik Roshan). Singer(rapper) Badshah however made good his escape from backside of the gate.

Work is underway to file case for an act of offense under Section 188 of IPC r/w sec 269 of pandemic act. All of those apprehended have been released on notice of CrPC 41(अ)(1).

Those people who were from outside Mumbai have returned to Delhi by a 7 am flight.

According to the initial  reports  many bollywood celebs/cricketers along with some famous singers  were partying at  night club Dragonfly JW Marriot and flouting Covid-19 SOPs. This night club was raided by Mumbai Police at 2.30am and all the celebrities including staff and other people booked u/s 188 of IPC.
