Today Home Minister Anil Deshmukh Tweeted and announced the name of IPS Hemant Nagrale new CP Mumbai.Mr Nagrale  has been appointed as the new police commissioner of Mumbai. He is a 1987-batch IPS officer. Previously, Nagrale served as Police Commissioner of Navi Mumbai from May 2016 to July 2018. He has also served in various capacities in the state departments and Mumbai Police.Recently he was posted as DG Office .

Mr.Hemant Nagrale comes from Nagpur , he has worked in CBI and handled very  high profile cases like Harshad Mehta Scam and Ketan Parekh.He also helped people during 26 /11 Mumbai terror attack.He has been SP of Sholapur ,Ratnagiri and commissioner of Navi Mumbai.
