Hello Mumbai SIT Team :
STATE GOVT DEFRAUDED BY OVER A THOUSAND CRORE IN IMBROGLIO BETWEEN GURU SINGH SABHA and GURU NANAK DEV HOSPITAL
In what can only be described as a shocking commission of fraud on the state of Maharashtra land worth over a thousand crore allotted to one entity for the purpose of running a charitable hospital has been transferred to another entity without any agreement/ legally binding contract/registration and above all permission from the Govt Of Maharashtra
A huge tract of land measuring around 18 acres abutting one of the most expensive areas namely Bandra Kurla Complex allotted to the Sri Guru Singh Sabha has been transferred to the Guru Nanak Dev Hospital Charitable Trust wherein it is claimed that the Guru Singh Sabha has now become the Guru Nanak Dev Hospital Trust
In effect a HUGE hospital granted land and permission to be run as a charitable hospital that in itself charges commercial rates from patients (which again is another violation) is running illegally and fraudulently.
This case had been brought to the notice of the Govt Of Maharashtra earlier as well wherein aome members of the Sri Guru Singh Sabha had complained that members running the Guru Nanak Dev Hospital Charitable Trust has submitted a resolution that the Guru Singh Sabha has now become the Guru Nanak Dev Charitable Trust
It is speculated that the purpose and intent of such an exercise is finally to develop the huge land for commercial purposes and war thousands of crores from the same
The Chief Minister Uddhav Thakkar has intervened and ordered an investigation into the same
The state of Maharashtra will be able to reclaim the hundreds of crores in transfer fees that has become due or in the alternative let the allotment of land be cancelled and the hospital with its surrounding areas be taken over by the State of Maharashtra itself
The whole sordid story about the Guru Nanak Dev Hospital and Charitable Trust came out inbtge public domain after a Trustee by the name of Iqbal Singh Matharu accused a lobby of other Trustees led by Bhupinder Singh Minhas of deliberately withholding payments due to him for civil work undertaken by his firm to the tune of over ₹ 4.5 crore
Matharu claims he received only around ₹1.4 crore and approximately ₹3.7 crores was still pending which has been fraudulently withheld
On the other hand Minhas and his friends claim Matharu has not only been paid in full but has even signed a No Dues letter to the Trust Matharu further alleges that Minhas has got ₹8 crore from the hospital for work which cost only ₹ 70 odd lakhs
Matharu has filed a complaint with the EOW on the same.
Meanwhile Chairman of the Trust Sarabjit Singh has filed a case with the Charity Commissioner asking for action to be taken against Bhupinder Singh Minhas and others (Bhupinder Singh Minhas is the cousin brother of Mumbai Congress leader Amarjeet Singh Minhas)
Even as Trustees Of the Hospital trade charges of corruption against each other Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has asked his Principal Secretary to see whether or not a full fledged investigation should be ordered into the matter of the Guru Nanak Dev Hospital and Charitable Trust. While speaking with Hello Mumbai News over Phone Mr.Iqbal Singh Matharu says we welcome CM Inquiry all truts and facts must be come out before the people.
