On the auspicious occasion of India’s 75th Independence Day, 25 Fire Brigade Officers from all over India were honoured with President’s Medal of Valor.

Out of them, Maharashtra was privileged to receive 8 Gallantry Medals.
(1) Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation Chief Fire Officer Balu Netke (2) Deputy Chief Officer Pankaj Pawar (3) Station Fire Officer Sandeep Asekar and (4) Station Fire Officer Rajendra Rajan were honoured with the President’s Bravery Medal.
Congratulations to these brave heroes from all walks of life.
