Hello Mumbai News Correspondent, Janvi S. Panjwani took the opportunity for a telephonic interview with Advasi Leaders Kalpesh Thange, NS. Biloshi Po. Khanivali Ta. Wada Jr za.

While introducing himself Kalpesh stated that “After having two meetings with the members of my team , in December 2018, we registered and established an organization in the name and style as “Adivasi Aadhar Foundation”.

Palghar district is dominated by Tribals a tribal and tribal people face a lot of problems. If we are born in a tribal society, then it becomes our responsibility to work for those people to solve whatever their problems be in the ground level. It was with this in mind that we established the Foundation.

Notably, Kalpesh financially helped, Tejaswini More, a11-year-old girl, who was suffering from blood cancer for her operation and also took care for her monthly grocery and rent for moving to Mumbai.

On the first anniversary of the Foundation, Kalpesh helped children who were unable to speak, had hearing problems and to go to their School with clothes, fruits and food.

Adding further Kalpesh mentioned that “a family’s house near our village was completely reduced to ashes.
On the Foundation’s opening day, we offered whatever material they required for the house, the Foundation together with the help from the Guests present took care of them.

Kalpesh further went on to say that after visiting the government school in his area, he along with his team gathered information from the children to meet their parents and to convince their children who do not go to school, or leave the school in between, we gather information from meet their parents, and convince them to their children back to school..

Over and above, Kalpesh also mentioned that “Whatever facilities are there for the poor in PHC, he took their information and give it to the people, so that they can be helped out.”

Continuing further Kalpesh said, In the Anganwadi village, due to the shortage of water, bad water was brought from outside and we solved the problem and the people expressed their gesture.

Due to health related problems lot of deaths keep happening, and people in Mumbai and in private hospital are very upset. And due to this people got facilities in Government Hospital, for which they had to struggle continuously.
