The last rites of the Bollywood Actor Shashi Kapoor is performed on Tuesday during heavy unseasonal rain at Santacuruz West. The entire Bollywood industry attended the funeral of legend actor such as Amitabh Bacchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Abhishekh Bachchan , Amir Khan, Shah rukh Saif Ali Khan, Anil Kapoor , writer director Salim khan, Naseer Uddin shah, actress Lara Dutta, Shakti Kapoor, suresh Oberoi and many other Bollywood celebs paid their homage to the legend star.
Mumbai police also paid their respect to the veteran actor. Shashi Kapoor is survived by daughter sanjana Kapoor and his two sons kunal and karan. He did 116 hindi films He was honoured with Dadasaheb phalke award in 2011.President Ramanath kovind and prime minister Narendra Modi expressed their condolences over the death of shashi Kapoor . In view of his sad demise most of the Bollywood event in the city is cancelled today.
