Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde considered the demand made by Haji Mudassar pate Vice Chairman Minority Department of Congress party and former MLA Arif Naseem Khan and declared june 29 a public holiday Instead of june 28 (Wednesday) for Eid ul Adha or Barkid.
The Joint Secretary General Administrator Dept issued order in this regard.
” There was a confusion about the Government holiday so many people and our community leaders approach to me and immediately we requested to CM Sahab and he took it very seriously and passed this order.” Said Haji Mudassar Patel.
