Advocate Firoz Usman, Mumbai based well known lawyer and Social activist, has been appointed as General Secretary Legal Cell, Maharashtra Pradesh Nationalist Congress Party (SP). This appointment letter was given at the hands of Jayant Patil at NCP office in Souh Mumbai.

In a letter issued on  26 August 2024.Jayant Patil said that Firoz Usman’s appointment would come into force with immediate effect and hoped that he would strengthen the NCP in State through his legal expertise,
Speaking with Hello Mumbai News over Phone Advocate Firoz Usman thanked NCP Chief Sharad pawar and Jayant Patil, Adv Ashish Punjabrao Deshmukh ( President Legal Cell Maharashtra )and other senior leaders for his appointment..
‘I am grateful to the party for giving me this opportunity to serve the party as the state legal cell and Will prove myself, NCP is not new for me its my family I have been associated with the partly since 1999, ” Says Firoz Usman.

Brief Introduction Advocate Firoz Usman :

Presently practices in Bombay High Court he has been an active member and a post holder of Nationalist Congress Party
since 1999 and started as a grass root worker and a foot soldier of Sharad
Pawar Saheb, an ardent follower of his ideology and visions. First he joined
Party as a Secretary of Naigaon Taluka, Mumbai, and then gradually
was elevated to the post of Secretary of the North Central District, Mumbai,
under Ravindra Pawar . Then he was further appointed as Secretary of
Mumbai Pradesh by Sanjay Dina Patil and then he was appointed as Vice
President, Mumbai Pradesh of Nationalist Congress Party, Minority Department. He resigned sometime in the year 2017-2018 due to family and business problem.
He has been a P.C.C. member form Naigaon Taluka for 4(Four) terms
comprising of 8 (Eight) years, and have actively worked in 14 Elections in
Mumbai (MP,MLA, Corporation).
He  had even opened a NCP FREE LEGAL ADVICE CELL under the
(Tanta Mukt Abhiyaan ) started by Late SHRI RAOSAHEB RAMRAO.
