As many as 10 Muslim Candidates across Maharashtra have won the Assembly Election 2024.
Muslim Community’s Presence in Maharashtra Legislative Assembly has reduced marginally higher.In 2019 12 Muslim Candidates were elected But this time only 10 Muslim MLA eere elected most of them from Mahayuti .
Here is the list of the Muslim MLAs who won Maharashtra Assembly Election 2024.

Three MLA,s Miya Hasan Mushrif, Abdul Sattar and Sana Malik were Elected on Mahayuti Ticket.. Amin Patel, Aslam Shaikh and Sajid Khan from Congress party,Abu Aasim Azmi and Rais Shaikh won from Samajwadi party and Mufti Ismail won from AMIM.

Abu Aasim Azmi  won Fourth time MLA On Samajwadi party Ticket from Shivaji Nagar Mankhurd Constituency.He Defeated to Ateeq Ahmed Khan AMIM and Former Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik.

Sana Malik first time Contested Assembly Election on NCP Ajit Pawar Ticket and won from Anushakti Nagar Constituency.She defeated to Fahad NCP SP Candidate husband of Sawara Bhaskar.

Hasan Mushrif Senior NCP leader In Ajit Pawar Gut and Former Cabinet Minister of Maharashtra won from Kagal Constituency Kolhapur.

Rais Shaikh won Second Time from Bhiwandi East on Samajwadi party Ticket.

Mufti Ismail won Second Time from Malegaon Constituency on AMIM Ticket, Single Muslim MLA in Maharashtra from AMIM.

Haroon Khan First time Contested Assembly Election on Shivsena UBT Ticket from Versova Assembly Constituency and defeated to BJP alliance Candidate Dr.Bharti Lavekar.

Aslam Shaikh won Three time from Malad West on Congress Ticket.A former Minister of Maharashtra.

Amin Patel Contested Assembly Election on Congress Ticket fromumbadevi Constituency and won Fourth time.He defeated to Shiv Sena Eknath Shinde Candidate Shaina NC.He got 34,000 Votes against Shaina NC.

Sajid Khan Contested Assembly Election on Congress Ticket and won from Akola.

Abdul Sattar Three time MLA won from Silod Assembly Constituency on Shiv Sena Eknath Shinde Faction Ticket.He is former Minister and Senior Politician.Earlier he was In Congress then Joined Shiv Sena UBT after rift between Eknath Shinde and Uddhav Thackeray he preferred to stay with Eknath Shinde.

While Speaking with Hello Mumbai News Mr Faisal Banaras wala  Social Activist and Political Analysis Expert explained the main reason decline the  number of of Muslim MLA in Maharashtra,” Maulana Sajjad Numani’s Statement and Video in which he appealed to all Muslim ‘Cast their votes in favour of Mahavikas Aaghadi ‘  brought all Hindu votes together against Mahavikas Aaghadi, Hindu voters united and they decided to Support Mahayuti,Due to this Communal Statement Muslim Candidates across Maharashtra lost their faith and trust in Hindu Community and result is before us,”

Another Social Activist from Mahim Mr Hamid Qureshi openly slammed at all Maulana and Ulema including Sajjad Numani ,” they should not participate in political activities,we all Muslim should boycott their Communal Statements, their one side support to AMIM and Mahavikas Aaghadi damaged to Muslim Secular Candidates, India is for all of us any Malauna doesn’t have right to oppose or to support any political party their work is at Mosqu not at political ground in point of view Muslim uleima and  Maulana responsible for this “.

Mr Qureshi further says our Country is very much Secular all political parties Fielded Muslim Candidates across Maharashtra and most of them won even our Hindu brother voted them , today all 10 Muslim MLA won because of Hindu Muslim votes it proved we all believe in Democracy not in religion .

Dr Badar ul Hasan Badar says Muslim Community responsible for this decline number of of Muslim MLA in Maharashtra they trusted in Maulana ‘s speechs they should cast their votes in the name of Development work not in the name of religion, Maulana Sajjad Numani role was very wrong,his stand confused to all Minority Community.

“This time Muslim votes were divided between Maha Vikas Aaghadi and Mahayuti lots of Confusion were among the Minority Community , Number of Indipendent candidate among minority community were increased these are the main reasons Muslim Representation in Maharashtra declined,” Said Imran Mulla Social Activist
