Hello Mumbai City Desk

Gift Distribution to Blind Children by Karuna Seva Trust and Shiv Sena Medical Help Cell through the Anam Parivar Initiative!

On April 29, on the eve of Akshay Tritiya, Karuna Seva Trust and the Shiv Sena Medical Help Cell distributed essential gift kits to 250 blind children at Borivali

Mangesh Chivate, Head of the Medical Help Cell, stated, “Wherever Anam Parivar organizes a program, Karuna Seva Trust and the Shiv Sena Medical Help Cell

Always support it’s a good initiative taken by them we will always stand with you.”

Anam Parivar has been conducting various activities for blind children for the past 24 years. Since the children are visually impaired, their talents are recognized and encouraged through various games. The winners in these games are rewarded. This three-day event brings immense joy to the children.

With the intention of contributing to this noble initiative and providing something meaningful to these children, Uday Chandarana, head of Karuna Seva Trust, discussed with Mangesh Chivate, Head of the Deputy Chief Minister’s Medical Help Cell, and they decided not to restrict the gifts only to the winners but to give them to all participating children.

Through the Karuna Seva Trust, Shiv Sena Medical Help Cell, and Dr. Shrikant Shinde Foundation, and as part of the Eknath Diamond Jubilee Celebrations, daily-use items were distributed to blind children. These gift kits included bags, water bottles, Bluetooth speakers (for study purposes), towels, and many other useful items. Uday Chandarana expressed confidence that these gifts would be beneficial to all the children.

Mangesh Chivate, in his keynote speech, said, “I consider it my privilege to be present at such an emotionally moving event. I wholeheartedly thank and extend best wishes to Anam Parivar, the selfless and nameless karmayogis (spiritual workers).” He also mentioned that the Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and MP Dr. Shrikant Shinde are fully supportive of the initiative and will continue to provide assistance in the future.

Interaction with MP Dr. Shrikant Shinde via Video Call

Dr. Shrikant Shinde, Member of Parliament from Kalyan Lok Sabha Constituency, was originally scheduled to attend the event in person. However, due to prior commitments, he addressed everyone through a video call.

During his message, Dr. Shinde said, “The work being done by Anam Parivar is truly commendable. It deserves recognition and appreciation. Now, the Shiv Sena Medical Help Cell, Dr. Shrikant Shinde Foundation, and Karuna Seva Trust have joined this family. Anam Parivar has grown stronger and larger, and Shinde Saheb will always be there to support you.”

Mangesh Chivate, Uday Chandarana, Ram Raut (President of Shiv Sena Medical Help Cell), members of Anam Parivar, and several other dignitaries were present in large numbers on this Occasion.
