Mumbai 8th February:
Mumbai Police’s Social Service Branch conducted a raid On 7 th February at Royal Lemon Spa in the Govandi area and busted a sex racket operating under the guise of a spa and parlour. Four persons have been arrested in connection with the case, while seven women were rescued during the operation.

The accused have been booked under Sections 3, 4, and 5 of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956, which pertain to running or managing a brothel, living on the earnings of prostitution, and inducing persons into prostitution.
Confirming this news, Police Inspector Anita Kadam of the Social Service Branch told Hello Mumbai News over the phone that the action was taken based on a specific tip-off. Acting swiftly, a team of officers was formed and a raid was carried out at the spa.
“During the raid, we found that a prostitution racket was being run in the name of a spa and parlour. Seven women were found engaged in the act, which was allegedly carried out forcefully by the spa manager,” Inspector Anita Kadam said.
In this connection, police registered an (FIR) under Section 173 of the Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS). The case has been registered against four accused persons under the relevant provisions of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act.
During the operation, police also seized four mobile phones valued at approximately ₹30,000, which were allegedly used to contact customers and lure them to the spa. Additionally, ₹16,500 in cash was recovered from the accused.
The case has now been handed over to Govandi Police Station for further investigation.
