With Lok Sabha Elections round the corner, every political party is wooing people by going out of their political ideology to win votes. Thus BJP Party known for its anti-Muslim stance is too trying to win Muslim hearts. The ‘Win Mission Muslim Campaign’ is headed by none other but the BJP Head and Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi who recently met Dawoodi Bohra community Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin (Religious Head of Dawoodi Bohra community) at a mosque in Indore on Friday.
Similarly walking on the footsteps on their Prime Minister BJP leader and Chairman of Maharashtra Minority Commission, Haji Arafat Shaikh too tried to win Hindu hearts by visiting Ganesh Pandals in Mumbai on Friday and sought blessings from the Ganesh Idol. In the video gone viral Haji is seen with BJP Mumbai President Adv. Ashish Shelar.
Though PM Modi and Haji Arafat Shaikh’s act may have given a secular color to the BJP Party the pictures of Haji seeking Ganesha’s blessing have hurt the sentiments of Muslims and few members of the Muslim community have criticized the act against Islam and termed it ‘Shirk ‘ (Sin).
