There is good news for those waiting for the Mumbai Board housing lottery from the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA). The online registration process for the lottery of 2,630 houses began on Monday at 3:00 PM. The lucky draw for these houses will take place on May 15 at 11:00 AM.
The online registration process was launched by MHADA Vice President Sanjeev Jaiswal at 3:00 PM on Monday. With the click of a button, the race to acquire 2,630 houses has officially started. Applicants can obtain information from the MHADA website: housing.mhada.gov.in.
Key Deadlines
- Registration Deadline: Applicants can register until April 19, 11:59 PM.
- Application Submission: Applications can be submitted and verified until April 20, 11:59 PM.
Distribution by Income Group
The lottery includes houses for various income categories:
- Economically Weaker Section (EWS): 1,358 houses
- Lower Income Group (LIG): 858 houses
- Middle Income Group (MIG): 148 houses
- High Income Group (HIG): 226 houses
Locations and Project Details
The houses included in this draw are located in several areas, including:
- Pawai, Lokmanya Nagar (Dadar), Pahari Goregaon, Antop Hill, and Wadala.
- The lottery features 727 houses from projects initiated by the Mumbai Board and 33(5) Redevelopment projects.
- 737 houses received by MHADA under the 33(7) scheme are included.
- 158 houses that remained unsold in previous lotteries have also been added to this draw.
- Additionally, 319 houses from older lotteries are being re-entered into this draw.
