Shiv Sainiks attack Wadala resident for posting dergatory remark on CM Uddhav Thackeray in Facebook

In a weird in incident a Wadala resident Rahul Tiwari was attacked by local Shiv Sainiks for a derogatory Facebook post referring to Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.
The Wadala TT police has served notices to him and his assailants.

Rahul Tiwari is an employee of a pharmaceutical company in Mumbai and resides at Shanti Nagar in Wadala (East). In his statement to the Wadala TT police, Tiwari said that in a Facebook post on December 20 he had made some comments on the Maha CM Uddhav Thackeray’s remarks comparing the police action against anti-Citizenship Amendment Act protesters in Delhi to the Jalianwala Bagh massacre.

He further said some people entered his and called him outside and took bim to a distant place a local Shiv Sena Pramukh Samadhan Jugdar some distance away, and alongwith his several others abused him and Jugdar shaved his head. Reportedly after some patrolling policemen were a witness to the ugly incident took the entire group to the police station.

“After hearing both sides, we issued notices to both Mr. Tiwari and Mr. Jugdar, warning them against indulging in any more activities in the virtual or physical space that could lead to law and order problem,” an officer with the Wadala TT police station said.

According to Tiwari on Monday, he received a link on WhatsApp from a friend and saw a Facebook post, which showed a video of his head being shaved.
On close examination, he realised that it was Jugdar himself who had posted the content.
