A women entrepreneur from Gujarat, Darshana Thakkar, was recently awarded the **Global Women Leader Award-2024** during the 11th Global Women Leadership Award organized by the World Women Leadership Congress and Award at Taj, Mumbai.

In this Award ceremony, women leaders from different sectors from more than 15 countries and various parts of India were nominated and awarded. That includes women leaders from countries like Canada, Dubai, UAE, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Bangladesh, and other different states of India.

She is proud of Gujarat.Darshana Thakkar is the founder and CEO of the emerging business consulting firm Transformation: The Strategy Hub. She is popularly known as “MSME GROWTH EXPERT” in the SME business community.
With an Electrical engineering and management background, Darshana Thakkar has been associated with the MSME industry for the last 27 years.
Transformation supports the MSME/SME unit for strategic and sustainable growth to improve productivity and to establish business processes and SOPs.

They are instrumental in reducing overall costs by applying the fundamentals of Japanese management technology lean system to business processes in a manner suited to Indian business culture. She has rich experience in increasing productivity by providing required training to the employees in the company.
