Hrithik Roshan tweets his father Rakesh Roshan stable after successful throat surgery :
A delighted Hrithik Roshan, who made the shocking revelation on Instagram that his father film actor and producer-director Rakesh Roshan is suffering from throat cancer, took to social media this evening to inform his father’s throat cancer surgery has been successful and his father is hale and stable.

Hrithik Roshan, whose forthcoming film Super 30 is on verge of release tweeted -“I am very happy to inform that my day is fine and stable. The doctors have confirmed his surgery has gone off well.”

Rakesh Roshan who has given several hit films like Khudgarz, Khoon Bhari Maang, Karan Arjun, Krish, and Kaho Na Pyar Hai on Tuesday morning underwent surgery for early-stage squamous cell carcinoma of the throat. Fortunately, the surgery was a success.”

It may be noted that earlier in the morning, Hrithik informed on Instagram that his father that despite his surgery joined him in the gym. Hrithik even shared the father-son pics. After which, Prime Minister Narendra Modi immediately responded with a tweet consoling Hrithik and appreciating his father’s fighting spirit.

Modi in his tweet wrote – “Dear Hrithik, praying for the good health of Shri Rakesh Roshan Ji. He is a fighter and I am sure he will face this challenge with utmost courage.”
PM Modi’s prayers worked wonders and the surgery went off fine. Hence thanking PM Modi, Hrithik tweeted, “Thank you, Sir, for your concern and good wishes. I am very happy to inform that according to the doctors my father’s surgery has gone off well.”
