South Mumbai’s very famous and old red light area Kamathipura which is Considered congress party supporter area .This time the sex workers from this area openly came in support of Congress party candidate Milind Deora .
While speaking with ‘Hello Mumbai News ‘ on the Condition of anonymity, 
Geeta (name Changed) said , ” This red light area always dominant by Congress party for the last many decades local congress leaders always support us in many ways , all girls who stays here always vote for Congress so no doubt Milind Deora will win he is perfect candidate from South Mumbai,”.
Another Sex worker from kamathipura 11 the lane pooja Mandal (name changed) said , five years has passed we never saw Shiv Sena MP Arvind Sawant here , in this area MLA is from Congress party (Amin Patel ) and Municipal Councillor Javed Juneja also from Congress party ., although all political parties are not interested in this area and the problem of sex workers inspite of that girls like congress party .”
” nobody is serious about our problems but we like congress party since when Indira Gandhi ji was PM because Indira Gandhi ji did a lot of works for women empowerment in the country, ” said Moti Deedi one of oldest brothel keeper of the area .
Rauf khan a social activist from 11th lane kamathipura says , ” I am observing these sex workers when I was young they are congress followers the reason behind this very much clear all old sex workers were influenced by Late PM Indira Gandhi ji their girls are following their footsteps and voting for congress party, ”
Dr.Badrul Hasan Badar who is running a clinic in Kmathipura 11 th lane since 2002 says , Majority of the sex workers in this red light area is congress supporters not from today since long decade they like Congress party and it’s ideology , this time Milind Deora will get huge votes from this area ,”
Mumtaz Iraqi a well known social worker and congress Supporter said , ” Congresd party did a lots of development works in this area particularly cess building related issues our MLA Amin Patel always use his funds to repair the old building in this area that’s why all sex worker like congress party in this area, “
