Mumbai : No Muslim Candidate in BJP’s First list for Maharashtra Assembly Election 2019

BJP releases first list of candidates for the Maha Assembly  ,No Muslim Candidate !Third party image from Google search.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released its first list of 125 candidates today for the ensuing Maharashtra Assembly Elections this month. This is as against 288 seats.
The list and the announcement for the alliance with Shiv Sena comes after several days of uncertainty. Now both the parties will be contesting together.
However many eyebrows have been raised over and the big question is why BJP list has been announced sans a candidate from the minority community.

Thare are few Constituencies  in Mumbai such as Govandi,  Kurla, Saki Naka Kurla, Bycullah,  Mumbai Devi in South  Mumbai,   Versova ,  Andheri is of a thick population of the minority community. Even places outside Mumbai and in Maharashtra ,Malegaon ,Akola ,Amravati, Aurnagabad , etc is dominated by the minority community.
The congress list however includes the candidates from the minority community.

As one will recollect when BJP came to power it was a proclamation by Prime Minister of SAB KA VIKAS SAB KA SAAT. Wonder how PM Modi skipped names of candidates  from the minority community. It should be borne in the mind of the party chief that the strength of the minority will play an important in the ensuing Maha elections. PM Modi must know that votes from the minority added strength to the party and enabled it to emerge victorious with a huge margin in the lok sabha elections. When the PM has emphatically made it precise of the Sab Ka Vishwas Sab Ka Saat it should be excercised.

In Maharashtra Muslim community population is 15% In some major cities their votes are very important such as in Mumbai there are five Muslim MLAs from Congress, AMIM, and Samajwadi party.Maharashtra had one Muslim MP Imtiyaz Jaleel from Aurangabad.
