Eminent advocate-socialist and journalist to make Kalina another “Boston”.
Eminent advocate ,socialist and journalist and an aspiring candidate from the Kalina Constituency Pradeep Nambiar has pledged to work hard and tirelessly to transform Kalina into another Boston of Mumbai!
He asserted that considering the fact that Kalina is abutted by BKC on the one side, the sprawling University of Mumbai the other and moreover with Kalina habitated by sizeable margin of Gaothans together with the north indians and muslims a d above all near the Chhatrapathi Shivaji Maharaj International and domestic airports, is is the modt ideal place for a Start-Up Hub”
Pradeep further added that “we need to unleash the power of the intellect and talent of young talent in Kalina, Vakola and Kurla”
Apart from making Kalina the Start-Up Hub Of Mumbai the there is also in the pipeline to set up a cricket Academy for young, aspiring cricketers…both boys and girls. He also articulated that when elected the 300 old dangerous and dilapitated buildings in Kalina-Vakola-Kurla area will go in for re-development as is there is every possibility of them to come down in the next monsoon. Earlier the re-development work couldn’t be carried out owing to airport height restrictions. Pradeep Nambiar also proposes to introduce a Bill in the Maharashtra Assembly to permit the “unused FSI” in a more profitable areas viz Bandra West, BKC and Khar West This is sure to lure the Big Builders to execute the re-development work in the said 300 old dangerous buildings in dilapitated condition in Kalina-Vakola-Kurla areas.

Adv Pradeep Nambiar is no stranger to the media and the public in general. As an active social activist and journalist and endowed with vast social and professional background he has been in the news and limelight as he has always been fighting for genuine issues of the people. News has it that there is a likelihood of him contesting the Maharashtra Assembly Elections from the Kalina Constituency.
Bewilderingly, even as he has not disclosed from which party he would be contesting, the news stands confirmed from his side.
In his conversation with “Hello Mumbai News” he revealed ‘during my social service I realised that MLA from political parties are unable to solve the Civic issues of the public.
“The people of Kalina have me in their mind of my service towards solving their many problems and in the light of my social experience and by having worked with prominent media houses like ,In Mumbai and Sahara Samay. They haven’t forgotten me for all the good deeds I have done for them. And it is owing to this, they approached me and insisted that I contest from the Kalina Constituency.”
It will, therefore be my bounden duty to fulfill their desire”.
Nevertheless as per news from inside sources, if there is a failure in the BJP Sena alliance, BJP could offer him a ticket to contest from the Kalina Constituency.
