Mumbai: This Saturday was very special for the minority community of Bandra as Sufi Conference was organized at Rangsharda Auditorium. This Sufi Conference was attended by many spiritual gurus and even by those who love sufi. Many SUfi’s not only from Mumbai but form entire Maharashtra participated in this conference. Maharashtra Minority Commission Chairman Haji Arfat Shaikh was present at the conference.
There were other delegate’s present for the conference. National Spokesperson for the BJP, Shah Nawaz Hussain along with Bandra’s popular personality who is known as the symbol of education Dr. Akhtar Husaain Rizvi. Hazrat Hashm Mohiddin Qadri, Salamti Peer also showed up their presence. Special appearance of Bandra’s MLA Adv. Ashish Shelar was seen. The entire sufi conference was in the memory of Greatest Sufi Hazrat Makhmali Peer. Kausar Ali Qadri was the person who performed at this conference. Qawalli’s were also performed in this program. Though people enjoyed this conference, the main aim was to pray for the betterment of this country, negativity should b ended and unity should be maintained.
Basically, Sufism is defined as an ‘Islamic mysticism’ that characterizes values, rituals, doctrines which began in early history. Those who practice sufism are known as ‘Sufi’s’. Historically, Sufi’s have belonged to different orders. These orders meet for spiritual sessions. They have perfection in worshipping. Muhamma, who’s the primary perfect man who is the example of mortality of God, Sufi’s regard him. Majority of the sufi’s are both pre-modern and modern. They are all supporters of Sunni Islam. They have always gained support from Muslims as there are reactions that oppose the worldliness.
