Mumbai: Mumbai Police bust high-profile online sex racket at an Andheri Hotel – 1 arrested, 2 women rescued
Mumbai: Mumbai Police acting on a tip-off about an high-profile online flesh trade being operated on a website “Massage Republican.com and acting on this tip-off sent a decoy customer to the Hotel Skywalk Inn in Saki Naka, Andheri(East) where the prime accused identified as Jatun Mahadeo Jadhav, 37, had come along with two women, aged 21 and 30.
In this hotel the accused roped in needy women and had uploaded his number on a ‘massage services’ website. The target would be upscale Indian and foreign customers, who would contact him.
Andheri Police have arrested one man and rescued two women from this racket..Search for others involved in the racket is underway.
Accordingly, a decoy customer was sent to the hotel, where the main accused Jatun Mahadeo Jadhav, 37, had come along with two women, aged 21 and 30.
While Jadhav, was arrested two women were rescued.
According to Senior Inspector Sunil Mane the main target was to trap rich and upscale Indian as well as foreign nationals. “During the interrogation, it was revealed that Jadhav, an auto rickshaw driver, had lured women who were in desperate need of money. He would promise them with a cut if 30 percent for each stint even as he pocketed the rest of the money. Cash worth Rs 17,500 and two SIM cards from Yadav has been recovered..
A case was registered at Saki Naka police station under Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act. Jadhav and his accomplices were booked for the crime. Meanwhile, the police are trying to nab the other accused.
