Mumbai: Heavy rains lash Mumbai and its suburbs and causes waterlogging in several parts after Cyclone made a thumping landfall near Alibagh on Wednesday
Mumbai:.Even as being spared by severe Cyclone Nisgara which uprooted several trees in many parts of the city, heavy rainfall lashed Malad,Vikrohli, Ghatkopar and Dadar.
According to BMC officials there is no traffic diversion due to the waterlogging.
Cyclone Nisarga, which slammed the Maharashtra coast with wind speeds of up to 120kmph, caused minimal damage to life and property and the worst is over.
Had the Cyclone Nisgara hit Mumbai, the scenario would have been extremely different. Providence saved Mumbai.
