Sex Racket in Massage Parlours has emerged as a flourishing money making business in Mumbai. There are number of spas flourishing in the city particularly in the western suburbs and are into all kinds of illegal activities under the guise of massage spas merely to evade police raid.

Notwithstanding the crackdown by the long arms of law, yet this illegal business continues unabashedly.

Acting on a tip-off, the a police team led by woman officers of the Oshiwara Police Station
sent a dummy customer and raided SIAM Spa in Oshiwara in Andheri indulging in soliciting customers in the name of body massages. Amid the raid, six women courted arrest and have been booked under the Prevention of Immoral Trafficking act (PITA). They also caught two girls indulging in sexual activities inside the small cubical cabins and arrested them.

The police are on the look out for the owners of the spa learnt to be absconding.

While Speaking with ‘Hello Mumbai News ‘ Amar Patil Inspector of police and Investigation officer of the case said, ” Acting on a tip off we conducted this raid at Just wellness Spa at Oshiwara and booked two accused  under PITA Act 370, 3,4,5 and 34
