Riding high on its landslide victory in the Punjab Assembly elections, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) are all out to make its debut in the upcoming civic election in Mumbai which it feels will help establish itself as a National Party.

AAP has proved itself as a vehicle for social change that Mumbai needs.

Tilak Kumar Chaudhari is AAP Mumbai Ward 24 President He is also associated with ‘Swaraj Trust’ NGO as Mumbai President.

Born and brought up in Mumbai, he did his schooling from the Shri Raghuvir Madhyamik Vidyalay and graduated from Prakash Degree College. He has spent his life in the 2nd largest slum in Mumbai known as Poisar.

Tilak Kumar plunged into activities by cleaning up Garbage from his society later entire Poisar, Plantation at Gardens and National Park. He books distribution to the children at different locations and schools. He has been an helping hand to the needy people by providing them with food with able support from his friends.

What’s worthy mentioning about him was that people repose faith in him and have started observing him from one of his best campaign called “Halla Bol”

In this campaign he is generating awareness on the responsibilities and their roles in different segments, motivating people to raise their voice against corruption and misuse of funds by BMC in their society.

While doing all this, it came to his knowledge that number of galli(Chawl) got repaired which is on paper only. Therefore we forced BMC to take up the work again on grounds.

Tilak has done with and continued his social work in terms of book distribution and other works.

Amid the Covid-19 induced lockdown he has helped Poisar residents to reach the railway station on their journey to U.P and Bihar and even booked their seats by getting help from Maharashtra government team and Sonu Sood team.

Tilk has been continuously carried out sanitization at public places Chawls, Public Toilets Auto rickshaw stand and many more places at Poisar, Kandivali.

By putting pressure on BMC he got repaired number of Public Toilets. He embraced AAP as they have done far more better work then other governments.

Aam Aadmi Party has been formed to impart free education, water,  electricity, transport for women, a basic need to be fulfilled by any government, which they got it done by eliminating corrupt people from Delhi. As of today many people in Mumbai mainly slum residents are reeling in precarious conditions to pay the school fees, and AAP is the Right party. What the party expects for Mumbai people is to just give a chance to them to send their child to the school which is his or her right. All this will emerge possible only when AAP government will be headed by BMC.
