Mumbai police’s Kandivali Crime Branch Arrested Three senior Employees of popular Digital Content productions company named ‘Short Format  Production in connections with the cheating,fraud and beach of Trust.Police arrested Imran khan (Insurance Head) Short Format,Swapnil  Pote

and Imran Baig (Customer Insurance Approval) another accused Bhusan Shelke is not arrested so far.Police booked all accused under Section of IPC 420,406,120 and 34 OF IPC.Court has sent all Accused to Judicial custody.

In a Conversation with Hello Mumbai News Vinayak Chavan Senior police Inspector of Kandivali Unit 11 said, that we have arrested all these accused on  the basis of FIR filed by Smrat Sen Gupta who runs Short Format Production Digital Company, the accused sold more than 3,000 Mobile worth RS 3,3 Crore which they were supposed to send the Insurance Company. the accused not only sold expensive android mobile phones but also took the proceeds of the sale.”

During the investigation, We learned that an employee identified as Bhushan Shelke allegedly sold a mobile phone in 2020 by showing that the phone was damaged beyond repair. Back then, the company ignored the matter thinking it was a one-off case. However, the complainant  Samrat Sen Gupta(Director Short Format Production)  received a shock when he got a list of 350 android mobile phones along with their resale price on WhatsApp.

After cross-verifying the IMEI numbers, the company records showed all the phones as ‘completely damaged’. During the inquiry, the company found the involvement of three ex-employees. Following this,Mr Samrat Sen Gupta filed police complaint against the three accused.

“We have set up a Special team to bust this racket we also recorded the statement of Niyati Shah who is also part of this short Format Production Digital Company we are investigating the case with all’ different angles.” Said Vinayak Chavan.
