Muslim organisations like Ulema council along with Mumbai Aman Committe expressed their anger over a one side police action against Minority people in Ramnavmi Communal Violence incident which took place on 31 St March at Malvani,Mlaad.
Delegation led by Ulema council and Mumbai Aman Committe met to Satyanarayan Chaudhary (law and order) and informed him,This Raam Navami rally was planned with the interntion of to spread Communal Tension between two Community in Malvani area Trustee of Jamaa Masjeed already informed to Local Senior police inspector about this communal Violence but Senior police Inspector of Malvani police station refused to accept the the letter of Jama Masjid Imaam it means Local police was not serious to tackle this communal Tensions.
Delegation further Demanded that FIR against Local Social Activist Jamil Merchant and others should be withdraw because Jamil Merchant supported and helped to police Department to control this Communal Violence. Jamil Merchant and other youth framed in FIR due to political pressure.
Delegation further demanded to set up a team to maintain peace in the local area. Local police should take All people in Confidence and restore peace in the area as soon as possible.
Join Commissioner Satyanarayan Chaudhary (law and order ) assured to them to Look into the matter and resolve this issue.

Brief About the Incident :
Communal Violence break out between two Community people over a Raam Navami rally at Malvani Gate no 5 near Mosque.In this case On March 31, the Malwani police arrested 20 people and registered an fir against 400 others for allegedly rioting, assault and unlawful assembly during the Ram Navami procession. The FIR has been registered against 20 men, including Jamil Merchant, and 400 unidentified people for pelting stones and throwing slippers on the devotees attending the procession.
On the other hand Jamil Merchant claimed that police officers had asked his help to calm down the miscreants as he stayed in the locality. “After I helped the police, they even thanked me, but to my surprise, I was named as one of the accused,” Merchant said in a statement released on Monday.
He had also submitted a video in the court in support of his claims. “I have submitted the video recordings in court where the police officers are seen thanking me for my efforts,” said Merchant
Jamil Merchant Moved to Session court against this FIR to seek relief Dindoshi Session court granted Interim Protection not to arrest him.but Final ABA order is not yet delivered.
