Foam or Liquid Sclerotherapy / Ultrasound-Guided Sclerotherapy
A sclerosant (liquid or foam) is injected into the diseased vein or branch; through Ultrasound guidance. The foam irritates the lining of the vein and leads to closure with subsequent absorption.
Ambulatory Phlebectomy: Through small skin cuts, superficial varicose veins (overt bulging branches immediately beneath the skin) are manually hooked out under local anaesthesia.
