Sufi Islamic Board Condemns Barbaric Terror Attack in Delhi, Calls for National Unity

Hello Mumbai National Desk

Mumbai, November 11, 2025

The Sufi Islamic Board (SIB) expresses its deepest sorrow and strongest condemnation of the horrific act of terror—the car explosion that took place near the historic Red Fort Metro Station in New Delhi on the evening of Monday, November 10, 2025. This cowardly attack, which claimed the lives of innocent citizens and injured many others, is a heinous crime against humanity and a direct violation of every tenet of Islam and Sufism.

National President, Sufi Mansoor Khan says We unequivocally condemn this barbaric violence. Terrorism has no religion, and those who perpetrate such senseless killings for political or ideological gains are enemies of humanity and have forfeited any claim to being followers of Islam. Their actions are contrary to the very meaning of Islam—peace.

The path of Sufism, deeply rooted in the Indian subcontinent, is a message of Sulh-e-Kul (Peace with All) and universal brotherhood. It teaches that “service to God is service to humanity”. We remind the world that the 99 names of Allah include Al-Rahman (The Compassionate) and Al-Raheem (The Merciful), and not one name stands for force or violence. We firmly believe that no cause justifies the shedding of innocent blood.

The Sufi Islamic Board extends its heartfelt condolences to the families who have lost their loved ones and prays for the swift and complete recovery of the injured. We stand in solidarity with the National Security and Investigative Agencies and urge them to bring the perpetrators and their masters to justice swiftly.

We appeal to all citizens of India to maintain peace, reject divisive narratives, and stand united against the forces attempting to destabilize our nation through fear and violence. The strength of India lies in its diversity and its shared heritage of tolerance and communal harmony, which must be protected at all costs.
