FAKE INTERNATIONAL CALL CENTRE BUSTED BY MULUND POLICE STATION
On 11/11/2025, Mulund Police has received credible information that a person by name Sagar Gupta is running fake international call centre at Mulund colony Mulund West with the help of his other aid by impersonating as Loan Official of Lending Point by making phishing calls/messages from an illegal call centre. They are cheating citizens of US and Canada and fraudulently obtaining proceeds of crime via Gift Cards/cryptocurrency by offering them quick loans. The call centre is located at Mulund Colony, Mulund West, Mumbai, Maharashtra. The said accused has recruited other 4 operators comprising of dialers and closers for running the said illegal call centre.
During the Raid 2 lap tops, 11 mobile phones, 2 routers and 76,000 cash have been seized by Police

CR no 1032/2025 u/s 61(2), 316(2), 318(2), 338, 340(2), 319(2), 336 (3), BNS 2023 r/w 66(C), 66(D) IT act r/w 3(1), 42(1) Telecommunication Act is registered against 5 persons and person name Prashant Rajput of Surat who is helping them to clear dollar gift cards into Indian currency and other unknown accused
Arrested Five accused namely
1) Sagar Rajesh Gupta 27 yrs r/a Mulund
2) Abhishek Suryaprakash Singh 28 yrs, r/a Mulund
3) Tanmay Kumar Rajneesh Dhadsing 27, r/a dist Lackisarai, Bihar
4) Shailesh Manohar Shetty, 27 r/a Bhayandar East
5) Rohan Mohd Ansari 28, Thane were taken into custody and above rented appartment has been sealed.
While Speaking with Hello Mumbai News Over Phone Ajay Joshi Senior Police Inspector of Mulund Police Station confirmed this news,” In this Connection we have arrested five accused today we produced all of them before the court, and we got Police Custody till 17 th November”
Mr Ajay Joshi Further says, its big international racket most of the Victims belongs from United State and Canada investigation is underway .
