Hello Mumbai City Desk:
Organizer and Manager Booked After Man Dies at Worli Music Event

MUMBAI: In yet another music concert tragedy, a 28-year-old Mahim resident lost his life and a woman was hospitalized after allegedly consuming excessive alcohol during an event at the NSCI Dome in Worli on Saturday night.
The Tardeo Police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) against the event organizers, identified as Karan Singh, CEO of Spacebound Web Labs, and manager Parag Narendra Uke. The accused have been booked under Sections 106 (causing death by negligence) and 289 (negligent conduct with respect to machinery) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
Speaking to Hello Mumbai News, Senior Police Inspector Savdaram Salgaonkar of the Tardeo Police Station confirmed the development.
“The FIR follows the death of Vrishabh Ganggurde, 28, and the hospitalization of a woman after alleged excessive alcohol consumption at the ‘Klangkuenstler All Night Long’ event at the NSCI Dome,” Inspector Raane said. “We have issued summons to both the accused in connection with the FIR and have recorded their statements. Our investigation is currently underway.”
Inspector Savdaram Salgaonkar further stated that authorities are awaiting the post-mortem report of Vrishabh Ganggurde to determine the exact cause of death.

The police are currently investigating all aspects of the event, including mandatory police permissions, alcohol service licenses, potential violations of event guidelines, and whether the gathering functioned as an unauthorized rave party.
According to sources, the Mumbai Crime Branch is also probing a potential narcotics angle. This follows a recent, similar incident at a music concert in Goregaon, where an MBA student lost his life due to a suspected drug overdose, leading the Crime Branch to bust an active narcotics network.
