CBI Files FIR in Disha Salian Death Case; Names Aaditya Thackeray, Dino Morea, Sooraj Pancholi & Others

NEW DELHI / MUMBAI — In a major development, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered a First Information Report (FIR) into the June 2020 death of celebrity manager Disha Salian.
The FIR, registered on September 13, 2026, under FIR No. RC0502026S0006 by the Special Crimes Unit (CBI/SC-II/New Delhi), names several high-profile political figures and celebrities, including Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray, actors Dino Morea and Sooraj Pancholi, and Rhea Chakraborty, among others whose roles require investigation.

The central agency took over the investigation following explicit directives from the Bombay High Court ordering a comprehensive probe into the circumstances surrounding Salian’s death. Further investigation is currently underway under assigned CBI officers.
According to sources CBI will issue summon to 29 people in this Connection including Uddhav Thackeray, Aditional Thackeray and other’s.
