Panaji: A Samvidhan Bachao (Save the Constitution) programme organised by the All India Qaumi Tanzeem was held in Panaji, bringing together senior Congress leaders and representatives of the organisation to discuss the importance of protecting constitutional values and democratic principles.

The programme was held in the presence of Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee President Harshavardhan Sapkal.
Among those present were Girish Chodankar, President of the Goa Pradesh Congress Committee; Manikrao Thakare, Goa Congress in-charge; Dr. Anjali Nimbalkar, Goa Congress co-in-charge; former Goa Chief Minister Francisco Sardinha; former Union Minister Eduardo Faleiro; former MP Ramakant Khalap; Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee General Secretary Munaf Hakim; Ajinkya Desai; and Dr. Haji Zakir Shaikh, Maharashtra General Secretary of the Qaumi Tanzeem and organiser of the programme.

The gathering focused on safeguarding the Constitution and strengthening awareness about constitutional rights, democratic institutions and the principles of equality and justice.

The participation of senior political leaders and social representatives highlighted the significance of the Samvidhan Bachao campaign and its message of upholding the constitutional framework of the country.
