2000 Muslims in Mumbai Ijtema pray for the welfare of martyred 40 CRPF families :
With intolerance and hate politics rapidly growing in India, the India Muslims have proved that they are as patriotic as their other Indian brethren. Recently over 2000 Muslims gathered in a Muslim Ijtema prayed for the wellbeing of families of the CRPF Jawans martyred in the Pakistani Terrorist’s attack at the Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
The Ijtima organized by Islamic Modadded Welfare Association was held at Golibar region in Santacruz East. The Ijtema was held under the guidance of Shiv Sena Corporaror Raju Bhutkar. Speaking to Hello Mumbai News, Raju Bhutkar said, “The objective of the Ijtema was to pray for the welfare of India and pay tributes to the martyred CRPF Jawans who sacrificed their lives for Bharatmata.
He added, “Though the Modi government has taken the revenge of the Pulwama attack through a second surgical strike but still the need of the hour is to extend support to the families of the CRPF Jawans martyred in the terror attack. Hence in this Ijtema, we prayed to Almighty Allah to give the martyred families strength to tolerate the tragedy and to send mystical help to these deprived families.”
Many top leaders were present in the Ijtema. NCP leader Nawab Malik,Senior Congress leader Haji Ibrahim shaikh and Many muslim religious leaders were also present.This prayer meet was organised by Akhtar Wahab shaikh .
