A Doctor husband Murders his beautiful advocate wife!

Economical problems are the common cause of a clash between husband and wife which unfortunately are responsible for breaking happily married life of several people in this globe. Such conflicts are not limited to uneducated or the economically backward class but what is shocking is that these days even the educated families are becoming victims. In a recent case at Jalgaon, a qualified doctor killed his beautiful wife who was an advocate by profession!

According to sources the doctor Bharat Patil, a resident of Supari Bagh in district Jamner of Jalgaon had a quarrel with his wife Rakhi, over economic issues. The quarrel turned so violent that in a fist of fury Bharat Patil throttled his wife to death. The unfortunate incident happened on January 13 at night between 12 and 2 a.m.

The matter came to light the next day, on January 14, after doctor took her wife’s dead body to his native for the funeral. Though the doctor informed the relatives and the villager’s that his wife has died due to heart attack some members smell a rat! Hence suspecting something fishy a relative informed the family of the doctor’s wife that their daughter had died. Soon the wife’s family arrived and took their deceased to a nearby civil hospital. The doctor did the post mortem and in their report mentioned that the cause of death was death due to throttling and not a heart-attack! Later the deceased’s father Ganesh Suralkar lodged a police complaint against his son-in-law.

Soon the police arrested deceased husband Dr. Bharat Patil and Lalchand Patil (father-in-law ) under section 302 for the deceased’s murder and destroying evidenced of the crime.

The deceased Rakhi Suralkar worked as an advocate at Jalgaon Session Court while her husband Dr. Bharat did medical practice from his residence. The couple has two sons.
