200 Lost Mobile Phones Returned to Complainants on Police Foundation Day

On the occasion of Police Foundation Day, Mumbai Police organised a Special Programme a special programme and returned stolen and missing mobile phones to their rightful owners.
On this Special Occasion Dr Abhinav Deshmukh, Additional Commissioner of Police, South Regional Division, and Dr Mohitkumar Garg, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone–02, Mumbai were also present.
As part of the initiative, cyber officers from various police stations which Comes under Zone–02, along with the Crime Detection Team and the Zonal Cyber Laboratory, worked tirelessly and jointly traced the missing devices using advanced technical analysis. A total of 200 mobile phones, with an estimated value of ₹40 lakh, were successfully recovered and handed over to the complainants.
After receiving their mobile phones, the complainants expressed satisfaction and extended heartfelt gratitude to the Mumbai Police for their efficiency and prompt service.
The Mumbai Police reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring citizens’ safety and to providing effective redressal of complaints. Leveraging modern technology, the force continues to strengthen its efforts to deliver reliable and citizen-centric policing services.
Dr Abhinav Deshmukh, Additional Commissioner of Police, South Regional Division extended his gratitude and appreciate the efforts of Police Officers who tirelessly worked and Solved these Cases.

I am very much thankful to Mumbai Police they took my complaint very seriously and I got my property returned, this initiative taken by Mumbai police is very necessary for the safety of Mumbaikars “, one of the property owner expressed his view on this.
