The Maharashtra State Anti- Corruption Bureau (ACB) has filed an FIR against Satara district Session Judge Dhananjay Nikam for allegedly demanding a bribe of Rs 5 lakh from a accused to grant bail in a cheating case.
ACB booked Dhanjay Nikam under various sections of prevention of Corruption Act 2018.

To Challenge this FIR Session Court Judge Dhananjay Nikam moved to Bombay High Court and filed pre -arrest bail application.
The Bombay High Court Single Bench Judge N.R Borkar kept this matter on January 15 and said it’s a judicial matter so he will hear this plea in his Chamber.
