Actress Isha Koppikar recently joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in Mumbai on Sunday. She introduced by the party presence of Union minister Nitin Gadkari. To looking forward as in Lok Shabha election.
She also scheduled as the working president of the BJP’s Women Transport Wing, according to ANI. Koppikar has acted in several Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films.
“Thank you for the warm welcome,” Koppikar wrote on Twitter. “Look forward to serve the nation.”
This actress is not new in Bollywood, Isha Koppikar had begun her career in 1998 in a Tamil movie. She has also appeared in Telegu, Marathi and Kannada movie. In 2000 Ms Koppikar also had made a Bollywood debut in Hrithik Roshan “Fiza” and the song “Khalas” in Ram Gopal Varma compay.
This is not first time Bollywood celebrity joined the party.The Bharatiya Janata Party has many Films industrial backgrounds person on his team including veterans such as Hema Malini, Vinod Khanna and Dharmendra. Moushumi Chatterjee, who acted in several major Hindi and Bengal films, joined the Bharatiya Janata Party earlier in January, speculation about her contesting the 2019 Lok Sabha election.
Haji Arfat Shaikh, Maharashtra Minority Commission Chairman and Head of Transport Wing of BJP, has organised a grand Function on Sunday and invited Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Vinod Tawde and Many more senior BJP leaders.During this Function Isha koppikar joined the party.
