It gives me great pleasure everytime I think of writing about Dr Usha Nair, an epic in her own way, year after year that I get to know her more and more.
In beginning 2025 her life was happy, having started the new year with her husband at their hometown and having spent the rest of January with fast family friends and subsequently with her business mentor for a day or two.
Just as tragedy was waiting to happen with the beginning of Feb 2025. Every day valuable and every moment immemorable. Her father got very ill and after a long daily fight of 45 days, living every single minute by the clock, she lost her father, the last guardian of her universe and she was totally orphaned.
Now was the time to recoup but she knew if the elders above go away, it’s time God holds you responsible to the youngsters of the next generation. She did learn a lot at this point of her life’s journey and held on to her strength and most important her never say die attitude to fight single handedly against all odds, come what may taking every day as a new day.
March orphaned her and the immediate next day her determination to be able to present a paper at an international conference of the prestigious United Nations platform of the CSW69 became a success. Nothing stops her. She knows her responsibilities and her commitments and also her core values to be able to touch lives of people and transform them completely by her leadership.
Overcoming the grief of her father was not easy but as it is rightly said, she is truly blessed in all aspects. She was not only fortunate to get recognition for her only book (GENE BASED LIFE) by winning the INTERNATIONAL AUTHOR EXCELLENCE AWARD but also was recognised and awarded a UN SPEAKER AWARD for the 5th time in a row by international dignitaries at an Awards function on Russian House in Mumbai in end of May.
Life never fails to teach you, what to do next, you only have to take the cues, be attentive, sharp and pick up the crumbs and move on, is what she believes in. A true story of resilience in adversity and universes abundant blessings.
We always feel proud of her and always pray that she keeps moving ahead in life, doing the best of her favourite ventures and touching life’s integrally globally in future too.
It’s only half year of 2025 and so much has transpired. She’s still collecting, collating and settling bits of her past yet she wonders what troughs and crests will the rest of 2025 bring on her plate.
